Sam McDonald is a Registered Nurse with over 13 years of experience across acute care, obstetrics, community health, aesthetics, palliative care, and occupational health. That range has shaped a kind, compassionate, and practical approach to supporting women through every stage of their lives.
She has always loved working with women, and joining The Menopause Clinic felt like a natural next step in a nursing career built around their care.

Sam's passion for women's health began in family practice, where she supported women through sexual health, pregnancy, contraception, and preventive care, and saw how much it matters when a woman has a nurse who truly listens to her.
Her interest in medical aesthetics grew from her own journey with self-care and seeking treatment for chronic migraines. That experience showed her how much the right care, delivered patiently, can change how a woman feels about herself from one day to the next.
She wants every woman to know she doesn't have to navigate her health journey alone, and that feeling heard, respected, and empowered is an essential part of good care.

What Fills Sam's Cup Outside Work
BEYOND THE CLINIC
Her 11-year-old Devon Rex, Lenny, is her furless sidekick and, in her words, the handsomest boy, and he rarely leaves her side.
Sam is a people person, and time with friends and family always fills her cup.
She loves to travel, relax on warm sunny beaches, hike in the mountains, and play sports whenever she can get outside.
You'll often hear her humming a tune, taking a dance class, or enjoying a concert. Music has always fed her soul, and it brings extra joy to every single day.
